YWAM Honolulu
YWAM Honolulu is a community of Christians who are called to give their time, talents, and resources for the sending and equipping of long and short term missionaries with a passion for reaching the unreached frontiers.
Ywam Honolulu has been our home since September 2017.
Honolulu HI is a beautiful island that is a melting pot of culture, race, and religion which provides great opportunity for ministries all over the island.
YWAM Honolulu runs schools all year long to equip students for long and short term missions.
The main school is DTS which stands fro Discipleship Training School and is designed to first grow students relationships with God and second to give students a heart for missions. During DTS you spend 3 months in Honolulu growing your relationship with God while being disciplined and learning how to disciple others. After the lecture phase you go on a 2.5-month trip to put in practice all you have learned and make disciples in other countries.
We had the incredible privilage of staffing in this school for a little over a year and lead teams to Thailand, Cambodia and The Philippines.
YWAM Honolulu also runs secondary schools throughout the year these being Bible Core Course, School of Missions and Evangelism, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
